There is always time for "log walking".  These three girls are trying out their balance at Camp Near Wilderness, "Hold on"!!
Our troop camped the second night of the service unit encampment.  While waiting to get into our camp site the troop pulled up some dirt and enjoyed lunch.
Crafts at camp are always a lot of fun.  Our girls made puzzle trees and at another location really cool bugs!!
"Hey, are you getting this??", Line dancing is not as easy as it looks on TV.

"Did they say left foot or right foot?? Oh, Well"
"Let's get this closing ceremony going!  I think we need our fourth to bring the flag down!!"
One of our favorite activities is camp fire time, especially making smores.
Even at camp, in the middle of the woods......you have to brush your teeth!!!
"Who's idea was it to make kites??"
Brownie Troop 78 (with some help), made kites.  After some modifications the girls were able to fly their kites.  It was a lot of fun but required A LOT of patience.

With a little team work...they flew!! (Thanks moms and dads)
This year's (1998-99) troop had 20 girls.  18 girls attended this camping trip!
